Some very rare species were recently discovered at the Jardin des Plantes botanical gardens in Paris. 50 monumental, twinkling creatures have emerged from the ocean to take refuge in the gardens at the Museum of Natural History. The first appeared with the approach of Christmas 2018. The hearts and eyes of children of all ages marvelled at the sight. The giant animals, measuring up to 10 metres tall and 30 metres long, have returned this year for Christmas 2019. Visit them now through 19 January 2020. This family outing at sunset is an unforgettable and educational experience. The night-time exhibition, Illuminated Ocean, fills visitors with wonder, even as it awakens our consciences to the present environmental situation.

This fantastic adventure through tropical seas is open daily from 6 pm to 9:30 pm at the Jardin des Plantes on Place Valhubert (5th arrondissement). To get there from our hotel, we recommend taking the RER A from Charles de Gaulle-Etoile to the Gare de Lyon station.
