La fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, showcases bold architecture, in which you can easily lose yourself and meet with surprise after surprise.
Inaugurated in 2014, the remarkable building of la fondation Louis VUITTON shocked many journalists. It was designed by one of the most well-known architects in the world, Frank Gehry. This architectural jewel, with a museography surface of 2,850 m2, is a true voyage, a small odyssey all its own. I invite you to wander about the building before viewing the exhibitions. It’s maze of staircases and terraces with a unique panorama over the Bois de Boulogne and the Jardin d’Acclimatation. Frank Gehry is the designer of some of the most beautiful architectural projects such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. Frank Gehry imagined this masterpiece as a ship, an iceberg and a cultural vehicle for France. With a surface of 13,500 m2, the light streaming through the 12 curved sheets of glass is both soft and illuminating. It offers a spark and desire for discovery.
